Villa Vera’s Banana Daiquiri

Recipe from Season 3, Mexico—One Plate at a Time 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 banana, peeled
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (it shouldn’t be too sweet)
  • 1/4 cup white rum
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • A few slices of orange, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine everything in a blender jar, cover and blend until smooth. Pour
into glasses (stemmed glasses are beautiful). Garnish with slices of
orange if you wish and enjoy without hesitation.
