Rustic Tortilla Soup with Chicken and Avocado

  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 2jarsFrontera Roasted Tomato Salsa
  • 2qts chicken broth
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2cups Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 2ripeavocado peeled, pitted, diced
  • 2cups Frontera Tortilla Chips
  • fresh cliantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges


      1. the recipe is great. i added a little chopped onion and garlic and ran with it.

        i also added the double roasted tomato salsa you make instead of regular.

        100% great job! just as good as the restaurants.

        BTW, i found this soup when i was traveling through O’Hare. it’s hands down the best food i’ve ever had in an airport. so much so i searched out the recipe!
