Rick and Deann published their first book, the authoritative Authentic Mexican, in 1987—the same year Frontera Grill opened. Since then, they’ve been on a roll, writing seven more cookbooks and producing nine seasons of their PBS television show, Mexico—One Plate At A Time. New cookbooks and more television shows are in the works, and all of it shares the same goal: Bring the flavors of Mexico into the homes of cooks everywhere.
