NEW: Village Farmstand Pickups at Frontera Grill

Big news for fans of local food: Frontera Grill is partnering with Village Farmstand to serve as a pickup point for the farmer-focused online grocery store. Here’s how it works:

  • Place your orders for local produce, meat, bread and dairy at the Village Farmstand website
  • At the grocery ordering website, add on a Frontera Grill meal (totally optional, but you’ll already be here to pick up groceries, so….)
  • Select your time slot for Thursday pickup at Frontera Grill, 445 N. Clark St. in Chicago
  • Pick up your order, head home a hero

Meanwhile, if you’re up in Evanston, please consider supporting Village Farmstand as your grocer.

A partnership between filmmaker Matt Wechsler (Sustainable, Right to Harm) and farmer Marty Travis of Spence Farm, the store aims to build the most equitable food supply chain in the Midwest by paying farmers a fair wage.

The store, 810 Dempster St. in Evanston, sources from farms that use organic and regenerative practices that increase biodiversity, soil health, climate resilience, carbon sequestration and nutrient density. Learn more.
