Villa Vera's Banana Daiquiri

Makes 2 drinks

Recipe from Season 3 of Mexico - One Plate at a Time 


Ingredients

1 cup ice cubes
1/2 banana, peeled
1/2 cup orange juice (it shouldn’t be too sweet)
1/4 cup white rum
2 teaspoons sugar
A few slices of orange, for garnish


Directions

Combine everything in a blender jar, cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses (stemmed glasses are beautiful).  Garnish with slices of orange if you wish and enjoy without hesitation.
