Achiote Paste
USES: Yucatan-style seasoning paste of achiote (annatto) seeds, garlic,acid (vinegar and/or citric acid), spices and salt is a challenge to make from scratch. The brand that I use is El Yucateco since it's all natural.
FINDING: In nearly all Mexican groceries and on line through MexGrocer.
STORING: At room temperature.
